August & International Students

Dozens of internationals will tour around the DC monuments in a church van, laughing, and enjoying friendship with American students.  At the welcome picnic they’ll meet community volunteers that have agreed to befriend them through our American Friends Program.

Free Resource Friday | 8-9-13

Study Light was recommended by Kevin Kusunoki, who serves as the XAi Director at Chi Alpha at American University. He uses it for his personal devotions and as a resource for when he prepares bible studies.

What is it? Glad you asked! This is an online resource filled with bible study tools. In fact, it claims to be the largest online repository of free tools of this type.

Meet the Interns

A Chi Alpha Campus Missionary in Training (CMIT) program is a 10-month internship corresponding to an academic year designed to train individuals in every aspect of vocational, full-time campus ministry.

Our primary aim is to prepare people to be eligible to serve as nationally appointed campus missionaries with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. Our primary desire is to equip people to pioneer and/or serve on universities along the Atlantic coastline and in foreign campus missions.

Together We Raised $6,000

Your generosity and partnership will not only have an impact during the Fall Semester but it will live on in the hearts of those whose lives are impacted through our ministries all across the city. Together, we raised $6,000 dollars in a little over a month!

Free Resource Friday | 8-2-13

Today's free resource was actually created by the Chi Alpha Staff at American University. It's a two-page shortlist of their recommended books on mentoring. They read the books and wrote short snippets giving a general overview and suggesting who might benefit from each book.
